I wouldn't say that this is normal.

It's a part of who I am. That's normal enough for me.

... How does it work?

Genetically? I'm not really sure. Broken bones fix themselves and skin grows back. It just happens automatically. It's not like I have to push a button or pull my finger or something.

We have to use magic for things like that. It's tricky, but useful. Not as quick, though.

Severus couldn't - Magic's pretty useful for a lot of things, from what I've heard.

I guess so, yeah.

This makes me look like a pretty big prat.

You're right. It really does. I'm not even going to lie about that one.

I know. And I appreciated it. The whole situation just made me realize how stupid it was for me to be keeping something like that to myself.

You won't have much of a chance to do it back home, but being here with something like that-in a way, I guess it is pretty normal. No one thinks twice when we say we do magic, anyway.

Sometimes I wish that I had a chance to do it back home, but considering the state of things there that's not really an option anymore.

It isn't.

We have to keep secrets, too. Hermione and I, anyway. Other wizards don't really have that problem.

I think everyone has to keep secrets. Whether it's about something they can do or not is a completely different story.
