Have to LOL for a bit.
Okay, so this entry could quite possibly step on some toes, possibly fall into the shade of fandom wank, but if you're a rabid, batshit Dan/Emma fan, you might find umbrage, so... you've been warned! LOL.
Apparently, some dude who was presented an award by Daniel Radcliffe pulled an Adrien Brody on him. Difference being that Dan doesn't exactly look like Halle Berry. So, many people were offended, and it may or may not have anything to do with the fact that it happened to be two men kissing. I understand that a formal affair may have called for proper behavior. I don't understand that Adrien and Halle can get away with it while James Corden and Daniel Radcliffe can't, but whatever.
Anyway, the fandom wank being that going to a Dan/Emma forum that I shall not mention, this incident is apparently taboo talk. If any, they took the funny out of the entire thing by taking it too seriously. '-_- I get it that Dan being gay would nix all possibility of him getting the hots for Emma in real life, but it's really grating to hear someone getting too seriously agitated about it and even going so far as to make it seem like Dan being gay is just awful. I mean, really... Dan/Emma is cute, and if they got together in real life, that would be great, but LIGHTEN UP for God's sake.
In fairness, this sort of agitation happened when news of Dan dating Laura came out. Same thing with the Emma+RugbyPlayer rumor. I suppose I'm just not that HARDCORE of a Dan/Emma shipper--that I actually like hearing news about Emma and Dan's love lives whether together or separately.
