Eye exam
I had to get an eye exam today as I needed new glasses (destroyed my old set). On a whim, I went ahead and let them do the full contact fitting as well (my last set of disposables hit their expiration date six months ago). There's a long story in this, but the short of it is - I'm switching back to contacts. I finally got a brand/prescription that fits properly and doesn't annoy me.
The long version of the story was much more interesting- a splendid tale of high adventure, dashing heroics, beautiful damsels, romance... ok, no romance, and less with the heroics and high adventure. Still, it is an interesting story for another day.
