1 - Downloaded, Occupation, and Exodus (okay technically that's a two parter but I can't pick one over the other :P)
2 - Cavil, Helo, Boomer
3 - Preferred: Laura can deal with grief better than Bill can, Laura would have hopefully found purpose in helping her people build a new life on Earth The Second (I can see her going back to teaching again), Bill would not have been tempted to resort back to his alcohol addiction in the wake of Laura's death (grief is very tempting for substance abusers, even recovered ones)
1. My favourite three episodes that did NOT have significant Adama or Roslin are...
- Scar - Downloaded - Collaborators
2. I would have happily had Roslin airlock these three characters.
I don't know about happily! I don't hate any characters really. But ...
- Athena - Cavil - Doral
3. Adama dies instead of Roslin at the end. Give three reasons why you would or would not have preferred this scenario.
Preferred
- if they weren't going to let Laura's special destiny actually come to fruition, then the least they could have done is to not give her cancer and let her live, rather than let her die anyway. Bill would almost certainly have been given a heroic death of some sort, going out with a bang. - there is not a chance in hell Laura would have let Lee throw all their technology into the sun if she'd still been alive and well to stop him - we would have had a named human woman still alive at the end of the show!
4. These were Adama and Roslin's three favourite hook-up spots in the Fleet (they can't all be evil :D)- Bill's
( ... )
1)Fragged: loved the parts of Laura in the brig and especially the big "dying leader" speech in the end. Also love Tigh and Ellen in this ep especially Tigh asking everyone...why aren't YOU in the brig. Tigh and his flask after declaring martial law
( ... )
1. favorite non adama roslin specific episodes Occupation, Precipice, Maelstrom
2. Cavil, Cally, Tory could have all gone out the airlock as far as i'm concerned.
3. Not preferred-so much of Laura's decisions and growth came from her understanding/accepting her inevitable end. Though "her" earth was devastated, I believe that she did full fill the prophecy; She "did" lead her people to earth though it wasn't as literal as she was taking the prophecy. I don't know that she would have had a relationship with Bill if she didn't have to make the decision of how and what to do with the time she had left. I don't know that she would have moved away from her duty to the people to meeting her own needs and desires if she hadn't been dying. I really liked watching that development.
