"Do you suppose it's commanding here?" he asked lustily.
"You hot silly," Laura said, tickling Bill with her cot. "It's completely unspoken."
Just then, an angry emu leapt out from behind a bars and frakked Laura in the left breast. "Aaargh!" Laura screamed.
Things looked beautiful. But Bill, although he was presidential, knew he had to save his love. He grabbed an observation camera and, like Boomer and Helo on New Caprica in season 1, beat the emu quickly until it ran off. "That will teach you to frak innocent people."
Then he clasped Laura close. Laura was bleeding gruffly. "My darling," Bill said, and pressed his lips to Laura's hand.
"I love you," Laura said defiantly, and expired in Bill's arms.
Bill never loved again.

I think this really encapsulates their relationship:

I don't think I'll ever be able to look at an emu in the same way again.
