My first introduction to BSG was stumbling across "The Story So Far", and the first episode I saw? Resurrection Ship II. Yes, I saw The Kiss first thing. :) The fact that the rest of the season was spoiled for me already made it better, actually, because I knew Laura would make it. (I eagerly awaited the follow-up to her miraculous cure - imagine my disappointment when that turned out to be Black MarketAnyway, I quickly fell in love with the characters and the 'ship, found this place, and was hooked forever. I'm actually not usually a fan of very dark shows, but I loved the characters so much I put up with the angst. (Then I went and wrote shippy fic. It's a coping mechanism, LOL.) I love the A/R dynamic because they're adults, and they've truly grown together - not just fallen into bed. (Though, that part's nice, too

Resurrection ship must have been interesting to watch not knowing much of the build up toward it.

OMG, I fretted constantly about this! I remember meeting RDM's wife at Comic con just before S4 and when the conversation came around to Mary, I told her how worried I was. Her response "Why, honey? We had her signed for five years" :D

I do like the dark, but I've noticed that if something is purely dark, I have trouble sticking with it (I didn't finish The Hunger Games series for example).
I've always loved your hilarious, light and shippy fics!!!

Well, "The Story So Far" is a pretty good summary, but without knowing all the characters, it was tough to figure out what was what. Also, in RSII a good number of them are in flight suits and helmets practically the whole time, making it even harder to identify everyone. I think it was six weeks before I figured out which one was Helo, LOL.

Hey, Mrs. RDM, a lot of stress could have been saved had we all known that!!! :)
Ugh, Hunger Games - started out well, but I agree that the last book was dark just to be dark.
I've always loved your hilarious, light and shippy fics!!!Aww, thanks! As I continue to love your powerful, dark and serious ones. We are like the Jack Spratt and his wife of A/R

OMG, I remember watching the episodes after Epiphanies and waiting and waiting for something, anything to happen between them. Because, I mean, after that Res II kiss ... and then we'd get little snippets in 3.0, but still had to wait and wait ...
