Apparently, it is Unohana's birthday today, so I can think of no better time to post this preview of my upcoming story, Elucidity. That story's a little on the long side and I'm not done yet, but I want to capitalize on the current events in Bleach, anyways. So here is my fantasy fight against Yammy.

Unohana, although she's not real, I can tolerate. And maybe that's why I can tolerate her, because she's fictional. She's also one of the more mysterious of the captains of the Gotie 13 as little is known about her. I believe we've had a background, or somewhat of a background, on almost all of the captains except for a few. She being one of them. That leaves her as a blank canvas. She's also one of those types that is silent but deadly. This was shown in the final SS arc episode when squad 11 was giving squad 3 trouble. Unohana gave them one of her steally glares and they immediately became afraid. Who's to say she's not as powerful as Zarachi? Or almost on par with Yammamoto? Besides, her zanpaktou also turns into a sting ray. Gentle but deadly. Zanpaktou's are a look into the soul.
I really liked how you portrayed her in this small scene from your story. I like how you incorporated her skills as a doctor into her fighting style. Knowledge plus great fighting skill is definitely a plus. It makes her a great tactician. I also like how you were able to keep her in character. Although she fought Yammy and defeated him, she still held her kindness and stature. Honestly, the woman seems to never get frazzled about anything. It's as if she's always observing, calculating in her head, and then wisely speaks when it's all said and done. She's truly one of Kubo's over looked characters.
Thank you for giving us a glimpse into your story. I really enjoyed reading the little bit you gave us, but you must post more. *nods*

Yes, Unohana's teh awesome, and also overlooked. However, she doesn't really appear in my story a whole lot (aside from this scene), so I wanted to try to make her a little memorable here. I kind of took (another) writing detour from my long story, but it'll be posted...uh, some time. On the other hand, I have some other stories (one of which is pr0n), pretty much ready to go. Hey.
And I'm glad you enjoyed reading this!
