Looking at some AE stuff
Just thought I'd get a look at what's going on so far this year, after the debacle of '08. Looks like there are some changes this time around. First off, neither SFU nor UBC are hosting the event. It's going to be at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre, which will make it a hell of a lot easier to get to, since it's a short drive from the North shore, and they have a Skytrain access not too far out. Also, they've moved the date from the usual August, to mid-June. This means we have two months less to organize. I know that we never seem to get everything sorted out right anyways, but I thought it might be a good heads-up to those that need to work it around other aspects of their life.
I am also at something of a loss costume-wise, so please toss your hat into the ring with ideas if we want to go matching.
