saturday (all-)night(er) fever
my first saturday allnighter in a looooong time. i feel very warm and fuzzy inside. see, allnighters aren't that bad when you don't have to make a presentation the next day. i am going to go home now and do some more work though. i got so much done today. i made this cute messy little model out of chipboard and lycra. and by some grace of god i had a piece of chip laser cut to fit exactly over the trusses and act as a sort of rigging system. my project is finally coming along after weeks of hating it. i'm excited to make my drawings look really good. the model is going to be really difficult though. modeling physical properties like tensegrity and load is too hard to do accurately. i'll probably have to fake it.
vince's car is right out front of the gsd, so i will drive that home. i would actually rather walk, seeing that it's a little above 60 degrees right now. not bad for 6:20am. vince went for a run at 3am today. that's when he brought me dinner too. i think both of our schedules are a little wacky. tomorrow will be even worse.
