well i don't know if i still have any friends that read this...maybe just hezi? well then, "hello, hezi!"
hmm...it's 11pm. i can't eat or drink anything (including water) after midnight. i'm having some tests done tomorrow at the hospital. but i think i will be really hungry later if i don't eat a little something within the next hour. i wish i had someone to keep me company at the hospital tomorrow. i'll have my readings to keep me busy. nothing like a warm, cozy chapter of "the situationists theories on traffic" when you're physically uncomfortable.
friday was my final review for the first project of the semester. it went relatively well. it was a bit anti-climactical though. no review, no matter how exciting, can ever live up to all the work and thought you've put into a project. so i'm bound to feel like this. i liked my project though. it was actually a relatively painless process, compared to some projects of the past. i probably only had 3 or 4 days of complete "omigod i don't know what to do."
then friday night i took the last chinatown bus of the evening down to new york. i missed the 10 o'clock and had to hang out in crappy boston chinatown, where i got attacked by a crazy box-kicking chinese man. yeah, he kicked this really hard cardboard box into my leg. i yelled some curses at him, but he didn't pay any attention. anyways, i slept from the minute i got on the bus till the minute we got into manhattan. on saturday vince, chris and i went to the amory show out on the piers. it was really cool. but too big. then we went to see starsky & hutch down in herald square. then to eden's apt on ave D, then to Hole. David came along, as did a bunch of people i didn't know. i got really mad at chris at one point, but that's a different story. then on sunday, vince and i watched HBO and baked lasagna. eventually i had to drive back to boston, pick up lupe, and find a parking space (which all together took about 5 hours). today i drove out to the brandeis university campus. that's where our site is for project 2. it's a pretty yucky campus. i thought it would be pastoral, but it's suburban. almost all parking lot and paved roads. barely any pedestrians.
i could go on...but i want to get out of studio. they turn off the heat around 11 and it's already cold in here. and it's going to snow 6 inches tomorrow!!! fuck that! hmmm...maybe i'll drive to the hospital tomorrow...
