JPG Mag and other things

Originally uploaded by jigarne. So, I'm thinking about a few things. One is a subscription JPG Magazine. Not sure if I would want their little tripod or not, seems like it would maybe come in useful once or twice, but it also looks like cheap plastic. Either way I think the subscription could be valuable and fun.
I'm also thinking about the lousy weather we've been having. It's fracking April and it's been below freezing or close to it for most of the week and it doesn't look like it's not going to let up until mid next week. I may need to set my sights on warmer climes. Or at least I'll think that until it gets to the middle of summer and I stop trying to speed global warming and soak up as much AC as I can.
Also I've learned that getting decent photos can be a task that takes a while. On my recent trip to the zoo (which produced the picture to the right) I took around 150 pictures if you don't count where I just held down the shutter to try to capture certain action (if you do, then I took closer to 250). I ended up with what I consider around 15 or 16 presentable photos which made their way to my flickr account.
