He presents the students with a hypothetical:
"The mother has tuberculosis, the father has syphyllus.
Their first child is blind, their second died soon after birth, the third is a deaf-mute, and the fourth has tuberculosis like it's mother.
The mother is pregnant again.
What would you advise these parents to do?"
The students are unanimous in advising towards abortion.
The professor shakes his head and says, "Ladies and Gentlemen, you have just advised to abort Ludwig van Beethoven."
