Gap

certain songs remind me of my summer in retail at the Gap. One of my favorite ways to pass the time [and I know this is completely dorky] is to google search top 10 songs of a certain era, year, genre and then look up the videos on Youtube to play while I play scrabble or solitaire.. or pandora..either one. awesome..

soo anyways, somebody had "singing in my sleep" by semi-sonic. so I found the video..and I was instantly transported back to that summer of '02..hanging out with Mando...Kari, G, Bethany...The managers that hated me like Tony..I always cared more about the songs playing in the store more than helping customers and signing people up for GapCards..which is probably why I only got ONE the entire time i worked there. it still happens that I hear songs and refer back to gap..

some of those songs were:
Jack Johnson "Flake"
Singing in my Sleep by Semisonic
Candy in the Sun by Swirl 360
Get Into the Groove by Madonna
Should I Stay or Should I Go by The Clash
Everyone Says Hi by David Bowie
Start the Commotion by the Wiseguys
Babylon by David Gray
Hands Clean by Alanis Morissette
Full Moon by Brandy
Wrong Impression by Natalie Imbruglia
Starry Eyed Surprise by Paul Oakenfold
Where Are You Going by DMB
Keep Fishin' - Weezer
American Girls - Counting Crows
Respect by Wheatus
Bubble Toes - Jack Johnson
A Praise Chorus - Jimmy Eat World
...
..
