Hi there! Sure it's okay. I actually saw you listed before I saw your message. (I was in the middle of shuffling my flist around. I hope I don't put you to sleep. :)
Wow, this website is gorgeous!turimelSeptember 16 2004, 11:05:41 UTC

Wow, this website is gorgeous!
Thanks :) I sprung for paid membership, and I am just now starting to learn how to modify everything. You should have been by last week, I had journal guts all over the place, lol. Still haven't figured out how to tweak the calendar page.
Sure! Just send over everything you have, and if you can find out what the image size is that they want for the ads (pixel size - for example, 100x50 pixels) I'll toss them together for you.
Hi, Adahy, you won't believe this but I deleted all my info in my Hotmail account (long dumb story, don't ask) so I don't have your addy anymore. Anyway, what the Tornies told me is this:
The banners are 468x60 and should be jpeg or gif in format. They should be under 50KB.
Ahem. Ok, so what I've been toying with is maybe some sort of animated thing, but I have no concept of either how you do that, how big the file will get, etc. Ideas:
--some sort of "One Ring" poem parody (one fan to ruin it all, one fan to fight her, one book to tell the tale and hope it will indict her, somethign like that) and then cut to the title (which I think we should deliberately run off the edge of the ad space, so it says When a Fan Hits the Sh
--Animated picture of Amy <-> Jordan (you even have one of those already!)
--Strictly information, like The story of Bit of Earth, the bane of LOTR fandom (boring, but it would probably use way less space!)
What do you think, in terms of file size issues and what not?
I friended you long ago, so you should be able to view my email addy on my info page. If not, for whatever reason, it's ~adahy at softhome dot net~.
I figured out the animated thing in Photoshop a while back. I could just smack myself, since its really easy. So animated isn't a problem. I love the one ring parody poem idea. I can see that being done like the trailer from the first movie. I go dig out my collection of files and see what I can do with that.
The space and size shouldn't be a problem for any of your ideas. I will put a few things together and send them over when they are finished.
Hi, I sent you your collapsible easel, (I'm from recycle by mail, if you don't remember me) it should be there in several days. Please let me know if it made it okay. :)
Hello Heather! I friended you back. Yah, someone who likes art and crafts! Most of the rest of my list isn't really crafty, and I think I put them to sleep when I start in on crafts.
