I'm suddenly sentimental about my family. Please help me. My crazy, insane, need-to-not-talk-so-much family. For some reason I'll never know, the only time we ever hang our is to eat, and eat we do. Today was just another one of those quickly assembled lunches with most of us in attendance. After we literally ate everything in my mothers fridge, including a box of doughnuts, day old milk and canned tuna, we decided to call this little place called Cabbage Rose for lunch. A simple enough idea right? Not so right. The order was placed by crazy-ass Grandma, which is a confusing enough process to begin with, but she couldn't decide what she wanted, so over the phone she made this poor girl wait. Crab cakes, nachos, fruit salad, cheese soup, chicken salad, red velvet cake, carrot cake, coconut pie, more crab cakes and grilled cheese for Kyle, alas the whole ordeal took 30 minuets to order. I don't know how I got nominated, but I quickly found myself in my car going to pick our 70 dollar order up, I think the poor waitress was glad it was me, not Mamaw. When I got home, the sly comments and rude remarks were replaced with smiles, food was here. Little Kyle and I dispersed the food and sat to eat our own. My belly overflowed with unneeded calories, but so did everyone else's, so I didn't feel so out of place. While all the girls decided for manicures and mini-facials in Mom's spa room, Kyle and I went to go watch Spiderman and play with his trains. I simply love him, he's so damn cute, "Silence Sissy, don't be ridiculous, of course Spiderman played with Thomas the Train when he was a little boy, you're not cool unless you play with trains and Spiderman is defiantly cool." I so want a little boy just like him, but like me. Trade Kyle's green eyes and blonde hair for my brown on brown action, keeping his attitude and cute little quirks and I'll be happy. We fell asleep together, and took our nap until around 3:00 when he woke me up at the end of the movie singing Spiderman, Spiderman. What a nice little afternoon.
