End of the year
Lets see...what's been going on in my life recently.
1. I graduated from college the other day. Got my bachelors in Music Education, so I guess that novel of my life is over. College was not just a chapter, that shit gets a novel. 5 and 1/2 years of my life. Graduation was super fun because I got to walk up there with 2 of my best friends Brenna and Muriel.
2. I'm still working at Best Styles, probably going to be promoted to Assistant Manager after the New Year because I can work more then. I'm actually posting from work right now. It is snowing and is ridiculously cold outside. I'm listening to Christmas music and loving it.
3. In addition to work at the store, I no longer have the no time excuse to put off planning the wedding and I couldn't be happier. I have been wanting to focus my main attention on it for months! I'm a very thorough person when it comes to planning but it takes me a while to do things the way I like and research things as much as I would like. Therefore, more time equals a more happy less stressed Diana.
4. I am off to see Andrew for a little over a week next Sunday until Jan 6th. Its his parents Christmas/birthday present to him. Its a pretty freakin great present. Its hard to be apart so much. I just can't wait until all the long distance stuff is OVER. I think I'm most excited for after we're married, and coming home from work to him everyday. :) Oh and the bedroom things will be fun too. Tee hee.
5. My sister had a baby on my birthday. Vincent Francis Plasek. He's a super duper cutie pie. He's pretty big too. But he went to 39 weeks. Jeremiah didn't stay in there that long so that's why he was smaller. He would have been as big as Vincent too if he had! Anyway I'm super happy to share my birthday with my nephew. I think its pretty cool. And its easy to remember!
6. My grandma (mom's side) that I'm really close to is going downhill. She was diagnosed with Alsheimers in September and my mom didn't really tell me until like Oct/Nov. Well we went over there yesterday to celebrate Christmas and according to Mom she had a pretty good day but I can tell she's different just a little. Its weird to think that her time with us won't last much longer. I'm gonna miss her a lot. My mom goes over there at least once a week to check up on her. Its really stressful for her. There is more drama but I'll leave it at that. PS. Grandma got me 6 pairs of fun socks, warm gloves, and a really pretty scarf for Christmas! All things that I am totally loving.
7. Random happenings. A guy from my town, the younger brother of a friend of mine, died in car accident right after Thanksgiving. My neighbor who has been sick a long time died last night. The funeral is Friday and I might be singing for it. I'm pretty much done shopping. I just need to get something for Aaron today or tomorrow. I'm really happy with most of my presents this year. I got Felicia some awesome dress up clothes that I think she will love, Emilia is getting a leotard and skirt for dance, Kevin and Colleen are getting Harry Potter Scene It because Amazon had a killer sale on it. The girls are also getting Disney Scene It which I can't WAIT to play. :) I love that game. Colleen is also getting earrings like she asked for. I can't say Andrew's present because he reads this but its really awesome too. I can't wait to be up there with him so he can open it!
8. I just remembered that I never mentioned that I moved into a new apartment! I am one of 4 girls who live in a smallish house. I love it. Its super cute and my room is the warmest room in the house.
WELL the other folks who are going to close the store will be here soon so I should probably wrap this up and be a good influence. :) Oh man the paul McCartney Christmas song came on. I really don't like this song.
