Andrew and I got engaged over the weekend!!!
Here's the story...
We had already planned a lovely date for Friday night and when I got home from work Andrew had a beautiful bouquet of daisies and roses waiting for me. Well we got all dressed up and went to a delicious dinner at The Dish. We were there for 2 hours!! Then we went to the Sunken Gardens for a late night stroll. You could still see how pretty the flowers were even at night! We talked about a lot of things. I think he was just making sure that we were ready for the next step so after talking for a while he said "And I have something else to ask you too...Will you marry me?" I immediately started crying like crazy!! I was feeling a million emotions at once and it all came out my eyeballs. Well I nodded yes through the tears. The ring is sooo beautiful! It is a solitaire that was his mother's engagement ring. She got a new wedding ring not too long ago so she is giving me her old one and Andrew is fixing it for me! I think that is so special! We are going to get married next summer. Probably May 30th or June 13th. I'm not quite sure yet. I'm crazy busy with planning but I am happy. He had to leave yesterday. I don't know when the next time I see him will be.
