(no subject)
so last night I volunteered for our program's industry night for school. this event is mostly aimed for 2nd years to get placed in jobs at the end of the program, however, first years can volunteer and I kinda wanted to know what the event was like anyway. So it was fun! Sarah, Kimie, Carly and I ended up running the bar for the first few hours which was really fun with the three of us. None of us particularly liked beer and kept forgetting the names; it was awesome. Then some other volunteers took over the bar and we wandered around, got some food, and met a bunch of the companies ourselves. It turns out more of them are looking for 1st year summer students than I thought; I got a handful of business cards and just generally had a really good night. It also kinda prepped me for next year and what to expect. But yeah Sarah and I had a blast mostly.
I even got hit on! I'll just leave that out for now; you who I talk to daily will probably know the story but everyone else can just.. whatever. Whatever.
...completely forgot about what I was talking about cuz I got called away to do something... anyway... i guess ill just end that there hahaha. Last night was a good time anyway!
