I have to post because I totally want all these people in this movie to die. Well, the people who are 'vacationing' for 'Christmas". They're so arrogant, and dismissive of the autonomy and rules of the locals, as well as completely not caring that their little girl is a dumbass that needs to be eaten by something because she is stupid and in her own little world. I mean, she almost got eaten by an adult, but she still thinks the baby monster is okay. W.T.F. And now the parents are letting all the other monsters out so they can save their dumbass (because teaching her before now to actually listen was too much trouble). The only one I don't hate is the brother, and that's because so far he's only been attracted to the girl and doing usual boy stuff.
OMG, and now the dad is acting like they deserve to know what's going on and that they should be in control, apparently because, you know, they know WTF is going on and all. ARGH!
OMFG, now the girl finally tells her mom why she hid the baby, and mom just says 'I know', and it's okay. Beat the child! This is why children need to read the real fairy tales, to know bad things happen when you're a dumbass.
OMG, the mom just told her it's not her fault! That's why she does this shit over and over. The island lady is trying to say yes, it is her fault, and the mom gets mad. Typical current parenting, with the my child's shit doesn't smell BS.
Hey look, the girl just came to a realization that hey, it's all her fault. But still yells at her mom that she's not a child.
I don't know if it was supposed to be heartwarming with the little girl and the baby monster, but no. Also, WILD ANIMALS ARE NOT PETS! Even if it was 'just' a bobcat.
Dang, they saved the girl, but the island grandma got killed. :(
And they leave the one island guy all by himself to deal with the clean up. Hopefully someone comes out to help him.
Of course, baby monster is hanging on under the car as they leave the island. Hopefully they don't asexually reproduce. Also, poor lone island guy is probably going to be killed now. I want to know how he does.

Also watched The Hive which was a fun 'B' killer ant movie.
Dark Light. Really interesting story, but not very well executed. Neat monster idea, though.
The Quake a Norwegian made movie that isn't quite as good as its predecessor, The Wave, but was still interesting.
Down, aka "The Shaft" was set to come out in 2001, but not released because it references terrorists. It's actually a good movie about a computer with a brain. And that's all I'll say. Somewhat funny. Very late 90's.
Shockwave: Countdown to Disaster. Have seen before, maybe on Syfy. Good B movie.
