Week is over :(

I worked last weekend including Monday. Then since Tuesday I've been off. Sort of. lol The sort of is that I still had a hair appt and riding lesson Tuesday, choir on Wed night (that I skipped, more later), and a meeting at the hospital on Thursday (had to go, since I run the meeting).

Today I adulted, and got 5 new tires for the trailer, and two for the truck. The trailer tires weren't bad, but they only last 3-4 years, and I didn't want to risk it. Apparently truck tires last twice as long, so I just replaced the back two because the right one was worn too much by just a little. (the guy says that's typical, and has to do with the towing. weird.)
But, it was supposed to take only an hour, and it took two. At lunch. And I had to go remind them that I was waiting, and it was just sitting there already done. I was so pissed. And hangry. I couldn't even really say anything at that point because it wouldn't have been nice, so I just kept my mouth shut.
Maybe I wouldn't have been quite so mad if they would have said, whoops, we messed up, but they didn't. That I can remember. Because I was mad.

Then, at the deli I went to, they brought out my sandwich, but not my soup. Uh oh. I was cold, and wanted the soup especially. :( But I wasn't mad because the guy was so nice about it, and sorry, and got me a different option right away.
CHICKEN POT PIE! The pie part wasn't bad, but the puff pastry on top was so yummy!
And then I also got soft serve ice cream. Because it's free there. And I'm on vacation, damnit!

Did I mention that I've been sick since Saturday? Had a steroid shot Sunday. Couldn't start antibiotics until Tuesday. Luckily I didn't have to work much Monday-my NP was there that day-because I was really not with it. Spent most of Mon, Tues, and Wed on the couch. Finally felt slightly human Thursday afternoon. (Note, this was *after* the meeting. lol Hope no one noticed.)
I love my semi-regular sinus infections. /not

But, Netflix is the bomb. I have watched many hours.
Dude, there's a series called *Towies*. It's about a big towing company in Australia. Less murderous animals than you might think. Lots of sand. Lots, and lots, and lots of sand. lol
Watched the whole series.

Lesse. *Road to Hell*-another heavy towing show from Canada, but in the west. Not as good as 401 because the main guy they follow is cranky and focused on money.
*Ice Road Rescue*, the Norwegian version is okay, but I only watched one ep-not as interesting, really.
Oh, and there's a series *Stay Here* has a designer from Trading Spaces, and another guy helping people fix up their rental properties. Kind of neat, although I wish there was a follow up-how they eventually did some months later.

*The Beyond*-actually pretty good. Could have been a tighter script, but the ideas behind it, and what happens in the end are good.

*End Day*-Yeah, no. From the BBC, apparently, which really made me disappointed. They even had some of the science wrong (the part about tsunamis being able to be seen in the middle of the ocean).

*Terrifier*-scary clown horror. not bad. not great. lol worth watching.

*Alien Arrival*-apparently extended from a short that was made. I think they tried to put too much into the story. Some really cool ideas, but they should have cut some things. Good acting. Lots of info about it on imdb.com. Worth watching.

*Pandora*-the fucker made me cry like a baby. It's korean, in subtitles, which made it a little hard to watch initially because the dialogue was heavy initially. But, it's a disaster film about a nuclear plant meltdown. A little long, but well done in general.

And now it's almost 11pm. Another day off tomorrow. The Sunday there's choir, and LEV (visiting) afterward.
Maybe I'll try to get a pedicure.
