I truly love the nice pastures we've been getting from the rain. The green is a big change from the usual brown/yellow we have in the summer.
However, it leads to some big ass weeds.
J mowed my lawn for me when I had my surgery (3 weeks ago now), but by even last week the back yard especially was nuts.
He mowed some of my pasture a week ago, which was really nice. But he didn't get to anything else.
And my old lawnmower was once again broken. Found out that since it was a Craftsman only Sears can fix it. And, BTW the closest center that will send it (not fix it, no, they ship it somewhere else) was not in our city (the biggest one in the area), it's an hour away. WTF? And no one else can fix it because all the parts are proprietary.
I didn't want to get a new one, but the combo of having to take hours out of my way without even knowing how much it would cost plus the crazy nasty weeds broke down my resistance.
Was going to get a Toro at Home Depot, but then I read the customer comments. Right, the Honda it is. It was $100 more, but I returned some weedeater stuff I had gotten and didn't need, and that mostly made up for the difference. yay!
Also broke down and signed up for Amazon prime yesterday (already gave in to Netflix last month). Now I've watched George Lopez, and am watching the Vagina Monologues. I think smart TV is awesome. Possibly scary, but awesome.
