It was really good, even though I didn't see it in 3D. :D
Dude, Alan Tudyk was in it, and was brilliant, and totally hilarious (as was his boss played by John Malkovich)!! I totally wanted to see more of the government base and their thing, but I know we were following the other guy. And I totally wanted to see more of the soldiers, but we did see a lot. (Although it totally made me want to go watch Battle:LA lol)
The fight scenes were great-and the naysayer that said you couldn't tell who were good and who were bad had apparently not paid attention because I totally could. And the one Decepticon was totally rad, although reminded me of Sandworms, one of my bad creature movies I like to watch.
The chick was totally pretty (like, arm candy), but not completely stupid, but still made me want to scream for a real person-although I know they're going for the 'geek gets the pretty girl schtick.'
Oh, the destruction of cars...gratuitous autobot violence. *snort*
But, the main deal, totally a Doctor Who plot. lol Serious. You'll know the parts I mean. And the end, when Optimus talks about always being there to protect earth, I totally thought 'you and the Doctor, baby.' hee!
Also, total Star Trek shout outs! Leonard Nimoy was one of the main voices, and he totally says something partway through that I just yelled "OMG" at. lol (The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few) aaaaaaggh!! lol
And, I totally believe the little blue guys survived the crashing of the Necromonger troop transport Decepticon troop transport. So there.
