Is it too much to ask to watch a movie without someone turning on their phone every 5 seconds? At least this one wasn't a $15 movie. Still, though. If you can't live without your fucking phone, then don't go to the movie. Of course, I'm always the bitch for calling them on it. Grrr

Oh man, cell phones in movies makes me rage hardcore. It's so rude, I don't get it either. And when I've seen what some are actually typing, it's always shit like, "Nothing much, at the movies." ARGH.

Fight the good fight! Maybe one day people will get it.

lol OMG, I am so glad I'm not the only one. I wouldn't mind if it was still dark, but the light and the nosie is so frakking distracting.

There's a gal you haven't met but I suspect would rather enjoy who I go to the movies with quite frequently and she has shown me the way of being assertive and confrontative with movie talkers and phone-uses. Now I'm even less tolerant of those folks than I was before, which means I have to deal with them less, ha! But there's always one asshole who thinks he can do whatever he wants and even though he's obviously bothering people oh well. Grrrrrr.

Oh man. That's why NetFlix exists, too - if you have to be an ass at the movies, DO IT AT A MOVIE IN YOUR OWN HOUSE. Geeze. And if your dad is sick and maybe he's across the country and you can't be there.... JUST DON'T GO TO THE MOVIES AND MAKE AN ASS OF YOURSELF. Argh. Sorry he gave you lip. How irritating.

And my friend Glo just politely but FIRMLY asks them to stop talking/texting, and she has a very proper British accent so it works out well. Only one time have I seen her get lip back, and that almost escalated because, well... that dude was a sexist dick!

Exactly. Although the assholes that cause trouble during a movie don't have an audience at home-so they obviously can't stay there.

Well, this theater is about a mile from both our hospitals, so I figured she was talking about him being there. So, yeah, she could have been there.

Hmm...Maybe I'll try a snippy British accent next time....
