Oh wow, fic ^_^;;;

May 16, 2007 17:33

Over the years I've started about a million fics but never really went finished them for one reason or another. Yesterday I actually managed to complete one, and I've decided to post it publically for the first time *is nervous*
It does have an OC female, but she has nothing to do with the relationships portrayed, honestly. I just needed a character that would play a role and be female at the same time ^_^;;;
Ok, so here we go.

Title: Morning's Suck
Pairing/Characters: Araki x Adachi, Zukkii, mentions of other 2nd cast, OC female
Rating: PG probably, mild swearing, and hints of sexual relationships
Disclaimer/Notes:  I claim nothing and no one, except the OC character, which came to my mind as I was watching a backstage from Winter Hyotei. Also, I don't know if Ueshima has a family or not, so please forgive my artistic license ^_^;;; Much thanks to
black_scythe10 for the support, being my beta, giving ideas, and just being there on MSN when I was spazzing cause I couldn't end it properly. Thanks hon!!!!!

Rehearsals were winding down for the winter run of Hyotei myu. The hotel they were staying at was really nice. They had a perfect view of the city, and this time, because Ueshima-sensei had once again hired his daughter to help out with the musical, they had paired up for rooms instead of being squashed three or four into a room. Araki truly felt grateful for the pickiness of women’s standards at that moment. It meant that he was able to get a room for himself and Adachi.
They really should have been up already because they had rehearsal that day. But the bed was so nice and warm, and Adachi just fit so snugly against his side, that they both ignored the wake up call and continued sleeping.
The incessant knocking at the door startled them both out of their reveries. Only one person would ever knock that loud, that fast, and that annoyingly so frigging early in the morning.
Adachi sighed and made to get up to answer it, but Araki snaked out a hand and grabbed him, pulling him back to rest against the tower of pillows behind them.
“Leave it,” he grunted. “Maybe he’ll go away if we pretend we aren’t here.”
Adachi nodded and snuggled back down.
The knocking only got louder and the frown lines on Araki’s forehead were getting deeper by the second.
Adachi leaned down and tried to smooth out the skin.
“Your face is going to stick like that Arayan,” he said reproachfully.
Araki grunted. It was too early for this!
            Finally, the knocking stopped.
Araki sighed in relief and smiled down at Adachi, who snuggled closer and pulled the blankets around them tighter.
Needless to say, the loud BANG as the door flew open into the wall was completely unexpected.
Zukkii bounced into the room - wearing nothing but a towel around his waist, another draped around his neck and a pair of loose track pants in his hand.
Not a sight one wants to see so early in the morning.
“Why didn’t you two answer your door?” he whined, still slightly bouncing on the heels of his feet. “I know you weren’t doing anything private,” he said, rolling his eyes, “because I couldn’t hear the bed creaking. Or moaning.”
Adachi blushed beet red and hid his face in the comforter.
“We were sleeping,” Araki grumbled, very annoyed, “emphasis on the ‘were’”.
“What? Wake up call came an hour ago! Rika-nee is already patrolling the corridors. Which reminds me, GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME THIS MORNING??”
“What?” asked Adachi, sitting up in the bed, glad for the change in topic.
            “O-chan, don’t encourage him! He’ll never leave!”
“Well I was on my way back from showering in Wada’s room….”
“Why were you using Maa-kun’s shower when you have your own?” Araki asked, with his eyes valiantly remaining closed in a vain attempt to induce sleep.
“Because his shower has hot water. Mine doesn’t. I told Rika-nee but she just slammed the door in my face.” Zukkii pouted, remembering how rudely he had been treated.
“Maybe if you hadn’t asked her at 3 A.M, she would have been more helpful,” suggested Adachi, fighting the urge to rub his temple.
“Why were you showering at 3 A.M. anyway?”
Zukkii shook his head. “Mere mortals like you will never understand the greatness that is my brain.”
“You have a brain? News to me,” Araki muttered, head buried under his pillow. “Itai!” he yelped as Adachi dug an elbow into his side.
“Anyway,” continued Zukkii, casting dark looks at the lump of blankets that hid Araki from view. “I was coming back from the shower and Rika-nee was going around making sure everyone was up. She had just walked out of Konii and Kuji’s room, took one look at me, and…..and……”
He trailed off here, and Araki was sadistically pleased to note the traumatized look on Zukkii’s face.
“And what, Zukkii-kun?” asked Adachi kindly, clearly wanting to help his troubled friend.
            “She…..she……GIGGLED!”
At that stunning revelation, Zukkii threw himself on the other bed and hid his face in the pillow.
Adachi tried to look horrified but was rapidly failing, which was slightly better than Araki, who burst out laughing at the statement.
“I’m sure she’s seen worse than you, probably better too.”
“Arayan! You’re not helping me here!” Zukkii wailed. “My pride has been damaged! My manhood has been impugned! I have been giggled at while wearing nothing but a towel! I have been traumatized for life.”
Araki rubbed his temples. This was rapidly deteriorating into disaster. And Adachi’s bottom lip was pouting, which was not good.
“I am hereby swearing off women for life! I will turn gay to stop myself from suffering humiliation.” He paused in his tirade, casting a sly look at the other two, who seemed to be trying to fall back to sleep rather than listen to him. “You think I could join you two?” he asked innocently.
Both Araki and Adachi sat straight up in their bed with looks of abject horror.
“Absolutely NOT!” thundered Araki, getting up and coming around the bed. “And you are now going to leave, preferably to go put some clothes on, and never come back in here again!”
He pushed and prodded Zukkii towards the door, while Zukkii whined continuously about the fact that he was being bruised and mistreated.
A soft knock interrupted the tirade and the door opened to reveal a young woman, with her hands on her hips, and her lips twitching at the corners.
Araki let go of Zukkii and furiously rubbed his temples. “What is this?? Does everyone have a key to this room??” He glared furiously at the woman, who was Ueshima-sensei’s daughter, Rika.
She smiled. “I have a key to everyone’s room in case of emergency. You know, just in case, say someone slips in the shower and knocks himself unconscious, and the door is locked.”
“Then the roommate can unlock the door,” Araki replied flatly, crossing his arms.
“Considering half of you can’t even remember the day of the week, that doesn’t make me feel better.” She reached forward and grabbed Zukkii’s arm, dragging him towards the door. “You have another hour before you need to be ready to head to the theatre. I’ll deal with this one. I was wondering what Wada was talking about when he mumbled something about ‘hyperactive towel wearing idiots’ waking him up too early.”
Zukkii gasped loudly, and wrenched himself out of Rika’s grasp. He clutched his chest and leaned against the wall, striking a rather dramatic pose.
“Maa-kun has betrayed me!” he said wearily, “have I no friends left who will defend me against the onslaught of this female!” Zukkii threw himself to the ground, wailing.
“Aw! Zukkii-kun! Of course you have friends,” Adachi said, coming over to hug his friend and doubles partner.
Araki looked ready to strangle him then and there. Rika took one glance at the look on Araki’s face and reached down to grasp Zukkii’s arm and dragged him up and out the door.
Zukkii frantically grabbed Arayan as he was being dragged. “NO!!!! You can’t let me go with her! She’s a giggler! I will be humiliated, mortified, disgraced!”
Arayan calmly removed Zukkii’s hand from his wrist and slammed the door as the duo left. Turning slowly, he moved back to the bed and collapsed, completely drained before the day had even started.
Adachi leaned over and rubbed his shoulders sympathetically. Araki cracked an eye open. He took Adachi’s hand, and brushed his lips against his fingers.
“You realize they’re probably making out in the hallway right?’ he muttered rebelliously, still furious at the interruption and wishing death upon Zukkii.
Adachi threw him a disgusted look before he grabbed a towel and strode to the bathroom.

Soooooo.........I hope that was ok ^_^;;;  Constructive criticism is appreciated ^_^
