Oh. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Did I mention this was wonderful. You guys have written the Methos who I consider to be *my* Methos and the Duncan who is perfectly Duncan and a Joe, well, I'm getting repetitious here. Wonderful. Thank you so very much.
I LUV LUV LUV my shiney story! I was going to try and wait until Christmas, but just couldn't!!! Well Done Indeed! I could hear the boys loud and clear! Oh how I miss our boys in cohootz together. Sherlock and John and Mycroft weren't bad either! I'm pretty sure I know who wrote who!!! *HUGS* You are the best Sistah's ever!!

Thanks, Sista! Glad it made you happy.
If you can tell who wrote what, then you are more clairvoyant than us! There are no assigned parts in our writing, we just pack our kit and take off on the journey. You've heard us cogitating....lost in the wilderness.
So glad you enjoyed!!!!!! We were thinking of you all the way through *g*. And Christmas would have been way too far away to wait. Maybe you can wrap up the boys and put them under the tree--they'll still be almost new when the Solstice rolls around again *g*.
ad is right--I couldn't tell who wrote which by this point. There was much diving in and out of the manuscript and words were splashed everywhere.
Loved this story. It punched all of my buttons AND RANG MY BELL!! Loved the humor, tenderness, cleverness - and sarcasm ;-) - of the dialog. Loved the "Methos and Joe show". Being a big D/M fan, I was glad that noble, big-hearted and generous-with-the-towels Duncan wasn't completely absent from the early part of the story even though he didn't make a formal appearance until late. Glad to see Laura included, and Joe getting a little action at the end. And as anya 2112 said, "Sherlock and John and Mycroft [and Anthea] weren't bad either." Although I've only read a few HL/S stories, HL/S is currently my favorite crossover and your story has gone to the top of my list. Thank you for writing and for sharing.
And thank you for such a kind and bright comment! It's a wonderful coda to the week. To the month! I'm also very glad you approve of Joe getting a little taste on the side, even if it was as fleeting as a flashback. Duncan, of course, is incapable of keeping his heroic light under a bushel basket--he shines right through whether he's in the room or not *g*.
Thank you kindly! I'm glad the story did the trick for you. Mackie and I have great fun writing HL, and we were pleasantly surprized at how well it crossed with Sherlock. Wonder what Duncan and Mycroft are up to now out there manipulating to their hearts content on the secret world stage....
Oh wow, I love this fic. Most Sherlock fics leave me feeling a little bit disappointed, but not this one! And it's Highlander too! Methos + Sherlock ftw =D
I miss that new energy we once had in Highlander fandom, though every December we come up with a couple dozen fine new stories for the holiday exchange on hlh_shortcuts
