I finally had time to print this off and take it to work and read. What an interesting story! I'm enjoying it very much and look forward to the next chapter. Poor Methos

Thanks, Pat, glad you're enjoying it. I think it is about two-thirds of the way done. When complete, beta'd, and rewritten I'll announce it on the yahoo lists and lj highlander communities. So please mention if you see howlers. There is some debate going about Methos getting the log to the top of the fence. I live in logging country and have seen guys lift logs, but Methos is not a muscle bound sorta guy. I may cheat a bit by leaving out exactly how high the fence is. I think the ramp would work. I guess what really counts is will the reader buy it?

I didn't have any problem with the log *g*. But I know some people are very picky about such things. Still looking forward to the rest of this story. Thanks for posting

This is an interesting premise! About Methos and the log - he is a scrappy, wiry guy, and they are often stronger than they look. Plus, he is highly motivated.
