Long time
Long time no post. It has recently been brought to my attention that this blog even exists. So what to post about? It's been so long!
Let's see, I went shopping Friday. Wait, no, that's not a big enough event to post about.
I'm watching the Nanny and My Cousin Vinny right now (at each commercial break, I switch to the other program). That's pretty insignificant.
I went to a graduation party today. Hmmm, no, that's not going to work either.
Ah, yes. I'm now a graduate student of the University of North Carolina! Ooh ooh that's a good one. Yep, so I got into UNC last spring and I moved here last fall. And let me tell you, it is AWESOME! I love all the other students here, I'm about to move into a one-bedroom apt for next year (and I've never lived alone before!), and I couldn't be happier. This summer I'm going to Wyoming for 4 weeks to do field work towards my thesis, and then I'll be in the Black Hills (South Dakota) for another 2 weeks to help my friend Karen with her field work. And then, STURGIS! The 69th annual Sturgis motorcycle rally is this August, and it will coincide with the end of field work, so Karen and I will be in attendance for the awesomeness.
And that is what's new with me. Not a long post really (considering that it is summing up the past, what, two years?), but in case anyone's interested.
