Hi everyone! It's time for an update from good ole' Eire! I only have 7 minutes on the internet, so this is gonna be quick.
The following is a true account.
Well, after the first grueling week of work, everyone went to Galway and about 70% of us got an intestinal virus from the water that made them vomit and have diarrhea constantly. Not a pretty sight. Thank goodness i didn't get it though. One guy literally pooped his pants. it was crazy. people still have it (we call it the ninja, since it creeps up on you), which is crazy. it's been over 2 weeks for some.
We've been having group projects each week, and they're crazy. One project was at this mountain near Finny, and it was a 1000-foot elevation jump in .7 miles (which is super steep). the valleys here are u-shaped, so the mountains are extremely steep near the top.
we also had another project at this place called Screeb, which is basically a giant bog (like the one Stapleton died in in the Hound of Baskerville). Five people went into the bog to their waist, and once you're in, it's super hard to get back out (basically like a huge mud-swamp that sucks you in).
So now i'm out of time and i hope i don't die in the next few weeks here.
Btw there's sheep everywhere.
