(no subject)
Man I sure left things off on a sour note last entry. Well it's a new break and a new beginning. I got home last wednesday, and basically just laid around, played with Shera, and played piano. I didn't realize how much I missed the piano, since I didn't get a chance to play over thanksgiving break. That's probably part of the reason I was in such a bad mood.
Anyway, I'm loving this break, I've gotten to see some friends that I've been missing and have some heart to heart talks.
And last night I went to the cinema cafe with dad to see Little Miss Sunshine, which I had seen but dad hadn't, and we ran into Tyler, one of dad's coworkers, who happens to be extremely cute and goes to ODU. Hmm...
Anyway, after the movie I suggested to dad that we trade cars for a while, and he said YES!! I actually was only being half-serious, since I know sue doesn't like riding in my car (she says it hurts her back). So now I have his convertible Mustang! I just hope that the weather gets warm again so I can drive around with the top down. I think I might do that anyway even if the weather stays cold. I love that car. Everyone is welcome to go joy-riding with me if they like, just gimme a call! Except for this weekend, since I'm going to fairfax to celebrate christmas with grandma and everyone.
By the way, I am so not ready for christmas! I only have to buy a couple more presents, but I feel like I'm out of time, since we leave tomorrow for northern va, and it's doubtful I'll get to go shopping up there.
Anyway, I don't know what really to expect this christmas with dad. Over Thanksgiving break, sue told me that she was going to michigan to see her mom for christmas and that katie and i would get christmas with just dad, but sue ended up going to michigan last weekend and now I think she's going to be there when we go to dad's to celebrate. I saw her once this break when I went to dad's office party last saturday, and she was actually nice. But then I called her on her birthday last monday, and she didn't answer so I left her a voicemail telling her to call me back, and she hasn't. And she's the type of person to always call someone back. I told dad about it and he said that she probably just didn't check her voicemail lately. Doubtful.
Oh well, her problem, not mine. I'm not going to get in a fight with her at christmas, but I don't know about Katie. They butt heads an awful lot, especially because Sue knows just how to push her buttons. She knows how to push mine, too, but I've gotten pretty good at ignoring her.
So we'll see what happens.
