Fanfiction.net Issues?

I know that this is only indirectly related to Leon/Ada, but has anyone else had trouble with Fanfiction.net lately? I just tried to go there (headed to the Leon/Ada forum, which is why I ask here) and my computer went crazy; I quickly closed the page, and moments later, my anti-virus program had a fit and said my computer had been attacked

When FFN directed me to one of those full-page ads on the site - the ones that you have to click "Skip Ad" to get away from - a program tried repeatedly to initiate. I'm using Vista, and it was one of those requests for permission to run a program. After two scans, my anti-virus program found four malware temp files and three processes that had tried to run while I was on the site. Fortunately, I've been able to clean it all off (at least, I think I have) - but I'm not feeling too great about trying to go back to FFN right now. :/ I know that this is a standard risk on any website with advertisements, but I'm really, really suspicious about those unavoidable full-screen monsters that FFN suddenly forces on you when you're innocently browsing a page.

I know I mentioned that it's been a little while since I've been there (I check it every few months or so), but I've been using the site for nearly a decade now, and this is the first time I've ever run into trouble like this. I just wanted to go look at the forum and see if there were any new LeonAda fanfics to read. ):
