My maternity leave will be up soon. Six weeks really isn't all that much time. After a lot of discussion with Michael, as well as some negotiations with the DA's Office (...that is, with Jack) I've made a pretty big decision.

I'm taking a leave of absence from work, through the end of the year. I'm excited, but a bit nervous, too.

Yes. I just don't feel right leaving him with someone else so soon. I am enjoying it - it's a time that you can't really get back - but I do love my job. Don't worry. Although I'd think you'd LIKE me not being around to nag you.

We should have lunch some time, though.

And speaking of time flying, I can't believe how big Aidan's gotten. He was such a doll when Christina brought him to see Tommy.

Lunch would be good, so I can actually see you.

He talked about Tommy for a week straight. I think he grows an inch everyday.

It'll be great when Tommy's old enough to play.

Maybe you could bring Aidan to lunch so they can meet again.
