3 major events that impacted her life:
1) Encounter of the schoolyard bullies and the rise of man hater: Her reasons for hating men are rather childish, however this started when she was still in the first grade. Boys were constantly picking on her and her friends because they were girls and had “cooties” making her believe that the whole male population is the same thus hating them all. It also doesn’t help that her mother also constantly warned her to stay away from suspicious “men.”
As a result she had taken to defending herself and her friends by punching Kelvin Wang in the face one day when she finally had enough and couldn’t take anymore of his attitude. Both of them were cussing at each other with what they both thought were insults they had learned from the streets as they fought. This caused them both to get detention after one of the students, Karen Liu ran off to get a teacher.
However, that fight won her some respect from the boys because she did something out of the norm, something that a stereotypical girl would not do. She did not cry nor run off to tattle on them to the grownups. After a few more scuffles later on (and continuing on until they graduated), she gained a place in male population as an honorary “boy”. (Which was why there were no cootie comments). However, that didn’t stop her from chasing them around in defense of the female population when they picked on them. This is also the reason why she can run so fast. From there she began hanging out with the guys, finding their games much more preferable to the girls despite her dislike for them. This caused her to develop some habits that are clearly not suited for a girl. This doesn’t mean she likes them, she just tolerates them to some extent and later on she can deal with them even better due to her “cute” little brother.

In the beginning, she had hated him because she thought that he was the reason why her mother died and wanted nothing to do with him. She even went so far as to deny his existence. She did what she could to help the family with the housework and minor cooking, (as long as she’s not near the stove) that her grandmother taught her. However she refused to do anything that involved touching Leon. Her grandmother tried for many months to coax her into letting go of her hate and to get to know him first until one day she slipped and broke her hip, which left her bedridden for quite a while. It was only through her worries of her health that made Camille consider taking care of her brother.
On the first day, she had grudgingly picked up Leon in order quiet him down so he would not disturb the others, especially their resting grandmother. She made the mistake of angrily telling him to “shut up” causing him to cry even harder. After a few more attempts of trying to quiet him down, she forced herself to pick him up the way she had seen her grandmother do and ran desperately to the said elder’s room for help. Lie Ao was more than happy to tell her what was wrong and what to do as she saw this as an opportunity for her granddaughter and grandson to bond, albeit unwillingly on her granddaughter’s part. Over the course of the time she had to take care of him, she was taught how to feed him, make his food (using a microwave instead of the stove), play with him, and tell what he needed.
Gradually she had unknowingly formed a small bond with him and Lie Ao was rather pleased to see the slight changes in her demeanor while interacting with Leon. Her eyes would soften unconsciously when she was with him, she would gently coax him to stop crying when he was being fussy instead of grudgingly as she did before, and genuinely worried about his well-being. Over time that small bond grew into stronger bond as her grandmother had hoped. Her grandmother even pretended that she was still bedridden for another two weeks just to ensure the bond would last. When the time finally came that her grandmother had “fully recovered” and took over caring for Leon again, Camille realized that she missed interacting with her baby brother. She tried to ignore it for a while, hoping that everything would return to how it once was before the accident without avail. Four days later her grandmother informed her that she would be out grocery shopping and that she needed Camille to watch her younger brother for a short while. As expected, Camille just nodded, without protest as she left. When her brother started to make a fuss, she immediately went to his side to comfort him. After calming him down, she was surprised to realize for the first time, how fragile this innocent little being in arms was. She no longer felt like dropping him on the floor anymore, but rather to protect him as a big sister should. She doesn’t blame him anymore for mother’s death knowing that he couldn’t have purposely done it nor meant to.
As they grew older with Camille doting on him and protecting him from bullies, Camille learned not to hate the entire male population. Though the same could not be said for the older ones however, she does tolerate them better now.

During the time when she was still refusing to acknowledge her brother, she helped around the house as much as she could utilizing all that she remembered that her mom did. What she did not know how to do, her grandmother taught her, she cleaned, cooked (what she could with a microwave and a rice cooker), and occasionally patch ripped clothing. She seemed especially fond of cooking and sewing because it tended to bring back the happy times of when she would sit on the stool as her mom fixed the damages to her clothes or when she help her make treats. She would even repeatedly badger Lei Ao for more sewing techniques and recipes
As she grew older, she would try out all sorts of recipes that she found on the internet and even took a culinary class as well. She learned how to make cloth and sew clothes in order to conserve money. She also suspects that it is her true calling in life and by the time she entered college, she knew she would double major in culinary and fashion.

Kelvin Wang - The bullying brat . Alive and busy trying to find a girlfriend at college somewhere in New York. They still keep in contact due to that bond that formed throughout the years in school. He’s the only non-familial male whom she tolerates the most and is the one that sparked her willpower all those years ago and tempered it.
Mary/Meng En Yuen- Camille’s mother. Dead due to complications of childbirth. She’s the one who influenced Camille into who she is today with her teachings even after her death.
James/Jia Tian Yuen- Camille’s father. Alive. An overworked father who’s so busy that he can barely afford to spend any time with his family in order to support the said family. Some of the responsibilities was regulated to Jessie when she finally graduated and got a job, lessening his burden. He’s the one that inspired her to become a hard worker, at least for the family’s sake.
Jessie/Nei Huo Yuen- Camille’s older sister: Alive. Elder then Camille by 11 years, she’s often help Mary take care of Camille when she was little and gave her the idea of how an older sister should be. As Camille got older, their relationship grew into a one sided (Camille’s) love/hate relationship because of how often Camille was compared to her.
Lei Ao Yuen- Camille’s grandmother: Alive. A shrewd, kindly old woman with sharp tongue or always have witty comment ready who’s currently nearing her 80’s. She’s the other driving force in her life after Mary’s death, she was the one who imparted most if not all her knowledge of the old ways that her mother should’ve taught her. She’s the one who taken over the responsibility of raising both Camille and Leon when everyone else was up to their ears in work. She’s the one Camille comes running to when she needs advice, stories of her mother when she was young or comfort. It is suspected that Camille takes after her grandmother in personality rather than being influence by random people on the streets.
Leon Yuen- Alive. Younger then Camille by 7 years, he was the one slowly convinced her that not all males are bad (with him and their father as the exception). He’s somewhat of a crybaby and because of that Camille and Jessie tends to coddle him and chase away (Camille) anyone who bullies him.
Gem Johnson: Alive. Age 21. Camille’s best friend, fellow tomboy gamer, and college mate. She’s known Camille ever since middle school due to their mutual tendency to punish the boys and is the one whom Camille opens up to the most except her grandmother. Currently doing her best to convince Camille to stop hating men in general and get a boyfriend like her.

She has quite a few pet peeves such as being called a little girl and any term that she believes indicates that the other person is looking down on her even though she resembles a 12-14 year old. Another would be wasting food because her family was poor and could not afford to picky. Another one are those who hurt the people around them be it unintentionally or intentional without a good reason. She also hates to be compared to her elder sister due to her teachers constantly doing just that. Due to her protectiveness over her younger brother, she hates it when someone cusses in the presences of children, herself included, however she does slip up when the situation is dire enough. Lastly are men, especially when they act arrogantly, believe that girls are useless, and are damsels in distress and when people ask about her future romantic relationships which she strongly believes will never occur at all.
Her strengths are household skills, financial/negotiating skills which she had gained from learning how to buy food at the lowest possible price and haggling. She’s good at running fast after all those years of chasing those boys around and trying not to be late for class. She is also very knowledgeable in many areas she read and learned about in school/library, but some only in theory (as she never attempted to experiment). She is slightly stronger than the average civilian and also has more stamina. She has a very strong will and will force herself to adapt to different situations whether she’s happy about it or not. In a way, her timing or withholding her emotions and venting about them later is also a strong point of hers. She is definitely not afraid to fight back even if her opponent is stronger than her.
Her weaknesses would her inability to make decisions, but when she does come to one it would take some very good evidence before she’ll even consider changing her mind. Her stubbornness is another weakness, half the time she’ll argue with the others to hell and back even if she has even the slightest bit of doubt unless she is forced. She has an extreme weakness to “cute” animals and she would instantly drop her guard in an environment she hadn’t deemed hostile. The reason why “cute” was in quotation marks was because she has an odd outlook of what she deems cute, on top what everyone else deems adorable. For example, she would find the dragons that the black riders ride in the Lord of the Rings movie adorable while her sister would look at her as if she’s crazy. She has absolutely no sense of direction, unless she’s navigating through a town or city with a map. She tends to be late most of the time though. She has no fighting skills unless you count the number of fights she did back in her younger days… and the knowledge that if the opponent is male, always aim below.

Moral wise, she one of those who tries to stay out of people’s business even if some sort of trouble comes and she knows that it’s wrong. However, occasionally she does help out if she’s feels guilty enough though she’s more likely to help the person in the aftermath. She hates it when the people look down on the other just because they can or because of stupid stereotypical view. She has a strange sense of right and wrong like for example, she doesn’t steal from people, but let’s say she caught someone doing so and when the coast is clear she would go steal it and put it back where is was taken. In her mind she’s technically not steal, but rather returning it to the owner.
Powers: Cooking, making cloth, and making clothes. Fluent in Chinese, English, Spanish, and just a bit in Japanese and French. Chasing/running away really fast, can haggle and some experience in financial matters.

Future Plans Not a clue, but I do hope that she’ll find someone preferably affiliated with Ad Lib and help her out. She has no desire to wander about Atlas for months before finally finding civilization, and finally changing out of her PJs.
World Biography: Earth, probably the only world we know without powers and monsters that drop items.

…. Wait a minute what!?
Camille jolted to attentiveness from her half-awake state and stared wildly around her. Just exactly where was she?! When she had gone to bed yesterday she had fully expected to wake in her own bed fully refreshed instead of waking up on a tree root. She felt sore all over and discovered that she had been dumped into some random place like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz book!
While she had been busy freaking out over her newfound situation, a Filfolia had gotten closer to her location. It was clearly attracted by the noise of its soon-to-be prey. It made a soft crooning noise as it closed the distance between the two. Camille snapped out of her frantic state for a moment to see an extremely cute little creature coming towards her. As if you flicked a switch in her mind, her attitude changed as she reached to pet it.
“Awwww how cut-“
That is until it revealed a row of very sharp teeth in its mouth when her hands were just mere inches away.
“…. Ah shit…”
She quickly retracted her hand and scrambled off the root before running from the clearing to the opposite way of Blessenwood, all the while cursing her luck and the gods she didn’t believe in in her head.
