Character's Name: Anastasia Kitty Leonheart, goes by 'Arisha'
Character's Homeworld: Nevus
Character's Age: 12 years. Physically 12 years, yet a little on the short side. Compared mentally to a 10 year old.
Character's Gender: Female
Character's Species: Human
Character's Class: Mage

Profession: Princess of the Kingdom of Rivera.

Biography: 18 years ago, the Firlan Empire to the south invaded the Kingdom of Rivera in order to gain control of the World Tree, Pankosmia. It was a short few months and the Empire was on the brink of victory. They reached Rivera's capital, Archangel. That's when he showed up. General Akili Leonheart. With his magic, the tide was turned and the Empire was defeated. Shortly after, the current King Roland passed away without an heir. The people spoke. It should be the hero of Archangel to succeed Roland. Akili agrees, and takes a common woman he met during the war as his wife and queen. 3 years later, the Princess was born.

Her Highness, Princess Anastasia Kitty Leonheart, commonly refered to as Arisha (which is said to be a foreign name meaning Alicia) grow up as any Princess would. A life of fun and relaxation in the summer time and moves south to the Great Cathedral in the winter to receive a Royal Education and appear for national holidays. At the age of 6, a tournement was held for new knight recruits. One emerged to be very special, Noah Diago. He performed best despite his young age, and he was assigned as Arisha's "Princess Guard" even though that was not his original intent for enlisting. None-the-less, they were fast friends and were almost never apart. As Arisha grew older, she began to have a new feeling for her knight...

One tragic day shortly after her 12th birthday as she departed with her personal knight for the Great Cathedral for the winter, there was an explosion coming from the direction of Archangel. Her home.
Together with her personal guard, they returned to the capital to find a small, unusually equipped army leaving the city. Arisha and Noah were made fun of, then showed the streets littered with the bodies of the people. When they returned to the castle, they found King Akili and Queen Melody slain.

Luckily, Noah and his sister lived in a area of the city that remained safe despite the recent attack. So they picked up Nina and fled elsewhere to figured what to do. There was no doubt the first objective is for Arisha to regain her senses as she was currently hysterical.

Important Relationships:
Akili Leonheart - Arisha's father. Deceased. Fought for Rivera in the Second War of Pankosmia. His leadership allowed him to succeed the late King Roland. Akili himself could've spent more time with Arisha. He was the first ever Magic-using human of no Elven descent.

Melody Leonheart - Arisha's mother. Deceased. Born a peasent, she was rescued by Akili in the war when their nation was invaded. They married, became the ruling family, and had Arisha together. Melody liked to tease.

Noah Diago - (Still on Nevus) Arisha's personal knight, as well as youngest knight. They've been together for 6 years and are hardly ever seen apart. Arisha harbors feelings for him.

Nina Diago - (Still on Nevus) Noah's kid sister and Arisha's only friend who is close to her own age that is also a girl.

Personality: Given her social standing, Arisha is a very valuable prize for criminals. As such, she is only seen outside the castle walls two to three times a year. Because of this, she has the bare minimum number of friends, making her inexperienced in talking to people. Most of the time, she'll just shy away from strangers or even began casting a bluff as a sort of defensive response if cornered for any reason. She quickly warms up to people where her kindness and compassion shine through like the sun. She means well all of the time, but there are times where she'll give an order or just not listen because of what her late father told her. She will listen if you compliment her though. She enjoys being called cute, but can get upset if she gets too much attention. Some of the maids will purposely make her angry by talking about her weight, especially calling her pudgy (which is a complete lie). They find how she pouts cute. There is no record of her lashing out, however. Which is good.

Despite her life in relative solitude, Arisha always found a way to entertain herself. She was a creative child with a seemingly infinite imagination. During the summer time, she would lose herself in her fairy tale book collections or play a game called Snow Siege with her personal guard.

Unfortunately, it's the very reason of living as a sheltered princess that she is incredibly naive. The recent death of her parents and the destruction of her home city left her weak-willed and severely depressed. If she does end up ignoring someone talking to her, it's mainly because she's not in the mood to talk. Noah and Nina are the only people in her life who survived the attack on Archangel. She is prone to breaking down in tears, and panic attacks, and of course, embarrassing herself.

Powers: Her weaknesses heavily out-weigh her strengths. Being the second ever human who can use magic, the descendent of the first, she possess the natural ability to one day surpass her father. However, she must first learn to control the power of her grimoire, the Tyrinolim. She is able to control her magic to some extent, reducing the power of her magic to harmless which can be used to make toys so long as she remains focused. She can only switch between minimum and maximum power, never anywhere in between.

Each article of clothing holds a significant meaning in her nation's culture.
Height: 4'4''
Weight: A little rude to ask, isn't it?

Future Plans: Arisha has no experience in leading anything, so no plans yet.

World Biography: The world of Nevus is kept alive by mana, which is coursed through Mana Links connected to the World Tree, Pankosmia. Following the end of the ancient age, 7 Master Nations arose to the modern age known as the Age of Magic, the 3rd Epoch in life on Nevus.
However, the 7 Master Nations are far from peaceful or safe from any kind of danger. One Master Nation had already vanished and another is about to be wiped out by war that went on for over a millenia.
The 6 remaining nations each have a unique form of government. A merchantile Republic. A Monarchy with many rights for all its citizens. A vast Empire capable of Magitech. A loose coalition of allied Democratic tribal states. A Federation descendent from a warrior nation and finally a Theocracy.
One unique abnormality is, in the Kingdom of Rivera where the World Tree stands, there is a everlasting snow fall desprite Rivera being on the world's equator. It's speculated to be a result of a failed war strategy more than 2000 years ago.
Some nations such as the Audian Federation and the Firlan Empire have horrible social skills, but everywhere else you'll find many people who will less likely see you as a native for a nation and more of a fellow being on the world of Nevus.

Despite advances in Nevusian technology, there's one answer to a question that elludes them. There is a spherical pattern of stars that somehow creates an illusion that Nevus is revolving around it. Some say it's just a galaxy. Others say Nevus is sharing an orbit with another body as a Double Planet. Never-the-less, these stars were named Heimdall.

Okay, I'm going to make a few requests. Don't panic! Mostly this is out of curiosity, since most of us don't know your character very well. You can just be brief.

First off, I was wondering if Arisha has any particular hobbies. Are there any physical sorts of things she likes or dislikes? (Ie. maybe a certain animal or food, etc, etc.) Does she have any personal goals outside of fixing things up in her kingdom?

Second, I was wondering a little more about her magic abilities. Are there certain types of spells she prefers? How does she go about casting them? (I'm guessing her weapon is the grimoire, a book, is that right or am I completely off?) Does she get along well battling in groups/with strangers?

And lastly, could I possibly see a 3rd-person example as well? I think you gave a good example of her voice, but I'm interested in how she would think/act also.

The 3rd-person example doesn't have to relate to the World Tree. It can be anything you want.

I won't panic, I'm just excited that my patience paid off. I've been waiting for OC apps to be allowed since I first joined. On to the add-ons~ Sorry, but for the best results, I'll have to explain them. ^^;

Particular hobbies. She enjoys a bit of literature, usually fairy tales to kind of Shakespearean-style plays. There is a game she plays in the snow with her personal knight, called Snow Siege. It's the same as a snowball fight. Her favorite animals are usually the small, docile kind like cats and dogs, but she can't resist a bunny rabbit. And food, she has a tendency to be really picky, but she does like salads with a small side dish of fish sticks. (Why do people find this gross?)
Some things she dislikes are giant bugs, spicy foods and too hot drinks, and self-centered people. One thing she absolutely hates the most is practicing ballet just to perform for people on the holidays.

She doesn't quite understand the full weight of her responsibility as the next Monarch, most actions are carried out by her advisers. But she's learning and already decided on what her first act as queen will be; Save their ally from a genocidal war.

Magical abilities... Arisha usually follows her personal guard's directions and tries to use spells best suited for the situation, usually low ranking ones so she doesn't wear herself out too easily. She has a tendency to use Water, Wind and Fire spells a little more often. Her spellbook is indeed her primary weapon. What she does is flip through the pages to find the spell she wants and recites its incantation. Once its finished, she'll point her finger or hand towards a target to aim. Other spells like Freeze Lancer and Spiral Flare require a magic circle to be drawn in the air in front of her, then aimed. Needless to say, her method of casting is pretty slow.
At first, she doesn't work well in battles with strangers. If there's a sneak attack, it will be too surprising for her and she'll completely break down. It will take her some time to recover from those. However, as careful around strangers as she is, she's a bit too trusting for her own good, and warms up to them quickly. She becomes pretty valuable from that point on, following directions during battle and being kind and caring outside of battle. She still won't be able to handle sneak attacks well.

A third-person example? That could take some time for me to think of one. I do recall the application process saying I could use a past roleplay sample at another site. Will that be okay? I could link it to you on AIM.(Granted, the Arisha I use there has a incredibly outdated character background, but overall character and personality remains the same.)
