She had to be a ghost. There was no other logical explanation that made sense for why he was seeing Stella here, of all people, in Atlas. Although most of the other guild members had arrived in Wulderworth by now, Senel'd hung back to ensure last-minute details were top-notch - and when they were, he'd begun his journey back.

Except... the marketplace with the ghost of the girl he once (still?) loved completely caught him off-guard. After a moment of hesitation, he stepped forward. "Stella?"

His throat choked on the name. Surely it couldn't be... Martel was playing a trick on him, right? Had to be. He watched her die! It just... it just didn't make any sense whatsoever.

A ghost was a bit strange to be seeing, but she wouldn't be 'haunting' him when she saw he was trying to finally get over her death. Stella found herself not being able to be out too long, in fear that something may happen to the elves if she were gone long enough.

Hearing her name be called in a way that almost sounded hesitant, fearful, confusion, and maybe even a bit of hope; she was a bit surprised that someone would have known her name if she had not officially met anyone yet, except her sister.

Turning around to face him, she had expected this reaction from him, since she had gotten the same one almost from Shirley. She looked to Senel and smiled softly, "Senel. It's so good to see you again."

How long had it been since he'd last seen her? Three years? (Maybe even more?) Everything about her felt so surreal - seeing her in this moment, in Blessenwood - and yet real at the same time. Ignoring the confused townspeople around them, he immediately embraced her and wrapped his arms tightly around her.

"You too," He murmured, blinking back tears. "I missed you so much."

Shirley had mentioned Stella being alive, but he must've blocked it out of his memory... or perhaps he just didn't believe it. It didn't feel real. Not letting go, he then attempted to intertwine his hands in hers. "How long've you been here...?"

Stella looked up to him as she didn't pay mind to the curious townspeople, her eyes only resting on Senel at the moment. She blinked and soon found herself in his arms, in a very tight embrace. Stella wrapped her arms around him as well, and just held him close to her, just as tight.

Hearing those words coming from him, she blushed a bit, as she smiled and whispered softly, "I missed you too."

She smiled a bit wider as she felt his hands in hers, as she held onto him and said, "Just about a couple of months." Her feelings had begun to resurface to her heart once again, as she then said, "Shirley told me you were here as well."

Two whole months and he hadn't noticed. Part of Senel immediately felt horrible for not thinking about it sooner, especially since he should've been the one to first greet her. Where was he during this time---Port Merrium. His face paled. Dammit! Next time, he's going to keep up with the new technology, even if it kills him in the end.

"Yeah? In Blessenwood?" He asked, his voice becoming lighter with each word. "I was in Port Merrium for most of the year. I'm... sorry I didn't notice earlier."

At the mention of Shirley, he nodded in agreement, "Likewise, but I guess I must've misheard her because... well..." He couldn't believe she'd still be alive. "It was a stressful time," He lied, not willing to believe his own thoughts.

It was also partially Stella's fault as well, as she had spent most of her time just being here in Blessenwood when she heard about Unicia. Now, she was their tribe leader and had to think about what was good for them.

She shook her head and said, "She said that you were there."

When he apologized, she had to shake her head lightly, and smiled as she then said, "You were busy and so have I, but we met here now, right?" She didn't want him to apologize for things he mostly had no control over.

Stella listened to his last words and somehow felt he was lieing, considering she knew him when they were little, but who knows. He could have changed during their time apart. "I understand. Don't worry about it." Stella looked up to him with a very pleased smile as she added, "Thank you for taking care of Shirley, Senel."

"Yeah. We're here now." He smiled, finally letting go of her so that she could actually continue her shopping. Walking beside her, he then folded his arms and glanced around them at the various wares the marketplace had to offer. Since most people were still in Wuldorwurth, the city seemed quieter, but Senel supposed that was a good thing.

He shook his head at the mention of Shirley, "You know I'd do it regardless," Senel admitted. "So it's really nothing."

Pausing for a moment, he then vaguely remembered to ask, "Sooo... where've you been these past couple of months? I know you've been in Blessenwood some of the time, but surely that can't just be it."

Stella smiled as she continued walking, appreciateing Senel's company, finding it so much better to have a shopping companion better than being alone. The blonde found nothing wrong with how quiet it was, seeing it gave her less curious looks about her griffon.

She took a sideglance to him as she smiled, knowing it wasn't nothing. He had kept his promise to take care of her and she looked extremely healthy, as if she had not been touched by seawater for a second.

Stella nodded her own head as she walked into a store as she began to pick up some small supplies of different sweets, "It's not. I spent most of my time being a tribe leader in Unicia. Have you ever heard of it?" She knew not many people have heard of the peaceful land, but wondered if Senel was one of those rare ones that's heard of it.

Unicia... Senel mulled over the name for a moment before slowly nodding. "Only bits and pieces," He admitted, glancing at the fruit and vegetables on sale. Picking one up, he then purchased some and placed it in his bag. "Genis told me the guild closed, but ah... I guess you restarted it there, huh?"

He was, of course, assuming that Stella'd joined Ad Libitum, but it'd be weird if she didn't. The guild seemed right up her alley too! "It's been under the radar, as far as I know, and most people don't really talk about it these days."

Stella looked up to him as she smiled and gave a slow nod as she then said, "I guess you can say I got tired of all of the fighting. So, I thought, why not just find a place where there is no fights or battles." There were only rare times where she had to ward off some tresspassers. That was mostly it.

Hearing his last words, she looked ahead again and then said, "I guess it's much better that way. With less people knowing about it, it will keep the elves safe from harm." Stella smiled as she then said, "I was planning on taking Shirley to go see it. It has a beautiful fresh waterfall, where she can relax in fresh water." Stella had to admit though, that it was rather lonely up there, being the only human there.

Unicia was quiet, he'd give her that. Compared to Port Merrium and its bustling nature, the city of elves would indeed be a snoozefest. Wait a second... relax in fresh water? Senel paused, biting his lip. So she didn't remember being on the Legacy or using her teriques to protect them... that one was new.

After a moment, Senel quietly laughed, "That's actually not necessary, Stella... Shirley can swim in sea water now. Nerifes removed its curse upon her a while back."

(He supposed she'd have to hear the good news eventually.)

Stella remembered before her death, but she never knew what happened between her capture and her death. She did remember seeing Senel and Shirley in trouble and used what was left of her powers to save them and stop the cannon. Stella just didn't know the news about Shirley being cured from the sea water.

The blonde smiled as she heard Senel laugh, last time she saw or heard him, he sounded so sad, guilty, and lost. Now, she was glad he was feeling so much better. The news was defianetly something to be happy about. Her little sister was finally cured from the curse. Stella smiled and said, "Really? Well, besides seeing you and Shirley here in Atlas, I think that made my day happier even more."

(Yeah, better now.)

"I'm glad," Senel genuinely smiled at her. Right, she was here shopping... so they should probably get back to the task on-hand. He folded his arms, slowing his pace down so that they could browse the wares more easily.

"So what're you buying? Anything I can help with?"

Stella looked up to Senel and gave a nod and said, "Well, I was hoping to find something to share with the elves." Picking up some fruits and examining some of them.

"You can help by finding me a very fresh and good roll of bread."

"That, I can do," He smiled, heading towards the baker's stand to examine their wares. Although he'd rather bake something himself, it'd be easier today to buy something and then maybe send some extra loaves for them later.

Once he purchased some bread, he headed back and handed it over to her. "How're they doing over there? I heard they were suffering from forest fires a while back."
