Blessenwood was quiet. Even quieter than the last time. After seeing what had happened to Port Merrium, Judas wasn't terribly surprised, and he didn't care that much--the guild had yet to tempt him to join. Furthermore, the member that interested him the most hadn't shown up at that gathering. Much to his disappointment, he had yet to see that man in town or even near the tree. Oddly enough, no one had said this person frequented the headquarters, but it seemed to be an obvious place to check.

When Judas finally set foot in headquarters, the sun had already set, making it even harder to distinguish the face under his mask, not that he expected anyone to recognize him anyway. As soon as he saw the dim, flickering lights of candles, he suspected that at least one person might have been around, only to see that the desk up ahead was unoccupied. He closed the door behind him, expecting the soft moan and the clap of it hitting the frame to catch someone's attention. Sundown or not, it seemed unlikely for everyone to be asleep at this hour. He stood still for a minute or two, expecting someone to emerge from one of the rooms further ahead. Apparently not.

It occurred to him to either call for someone or return in the morning, but he decided to wait a little longer, this time paying closer attention to the walls, and soon, the desk. Spotting some papers both stacked in piles and scattered across the surface, he drew closer, taking a look at whatever was left on that display without actually moving anything from its original place. It seemed there was enough chaos without his help. From what he could tell, there were quests, but he kept an eye out for a specific name amongst any of the documents.

"Hmph. Is no one around?" he muttered to himself as he began to read one particular report. After a second or two, he skimmed the rest and looked up to see if someone had noticed that there was a guest waiting.
