Costume Surprise

Aug 05, 2009 09:15

Who: Jay, anyone else
Where: Blacksmith, then wandering around the town
Why: Because I couldn't resist. A young girl has become a Tear fan, so her parents wanted a Tear costume made for her. However, as they wished to keep it a surprise, they have selected Jay as the "fitting model."

[Jay stepped out of the fitting room in the smithery, clad in a replica of Tear's dress. He walked awkwardly towards the mirror, as the shoes put a tremendous amount of pressure on his toes, not to mention the high heels were throwing him off balance. The costume itself fit snugly, but Jay had his arms wrapped around himself as if the clothing could fall off at any moment.

The boy stood in front of the mirror, his eyes widening, and his face turning five different shades of red. Another concern he had was the possible "indecent exposure." It was fine as long as he stood up straight, but any movement in his legs would risk exposing his thighs, or even his rear end.]

(How can Tear stand to dress like this??)

[Another discomfort was how thin the costume was. Or perhaps Jay was just used to wearing his thick jacket. Either way, Jay shivered slightly in response to the chill in his body. But then another thing caught his attention.]

(Wh...where did the clients go?)

[He pondered the possibilities, but the one that made the most sense was perhaps they were plotting to humiliate him. Jay let out an exasperated sigh. It was time to swallow his pride and go into the town to search for the clients. But he sure didn't want to be recognized in this costume. Looking in the mirror again, Jay pulled out his hairbands and let his hair down. If his black hair, pale white skin, and big plum eyes were ignored, one could say that he looked just like Tear.

Jay stepped out of the blacksmith and walked awkwardly down the road, ignoring any weird stares he might have gotten. No one had teased him so far, so perhaps he really was mistaken for Tear.

After walking a little ways, his feet began to protest. So Jay dropped into the next wooden bench and straightened his legs, propping his heels on the ground, still wondering how Tear can tolerate this costume. Perhaps her boots were actually large enough to fit her feet? And for the clients' sake, Jay hoped that this girl had smaller feet than he did.

Finally, Jay hid his face in his hands, letting his hair fall in front of his face...]

{OOC: This is what he looks like.}
