Who: Dist, anyone else who wants to be annoyed by him help him out Where: near the World Tree Why: Dist has only just arrived, and already he's gotten himself into trouble. Status: Closed
{OOC: Because Jay hadn't greeted anyone yet...and I thought Jay/Dist might be interesting...}
[Jay ran down the game trail after hearing the agonized cries for help. He couldn't quite see the person he was rescuing, due to him hiding behind the tree, but he could see the monsters. He stopped at a distance to hurl his exploding dagger at the monster closest to the person in distress.]
Dagger!!
[The leafy monsters had a certain weakness to fire, so the dagger was able to finish off that monster. Jay charged at the remaining monsters, sticking his dagger into the ground in the middle of their formation before flipping out of the way. He clenched his fist, concentrating for a brief second.]
Pyre!!
[The dagger shot out from the ground, calling up a field of flames. The monsters tipped to the ground, flailing about as they died along with the flames.]
Well, that was too easy. I really should start looking for stronger monsters...
[Now Jay turned to the person he had rescued and gasped. This guy looked pretty intimidating with his maniacal eyes. He almost reminded him of Solon, but given the way he was panicking, it was obvious that this guy was nothing like him. But this guy didn't exactly look like a good guy either...]
[Dist yelped in surprise at the first attack, having been too absorbed in his own problems to notice someone else approaching. He flattened himself against the tree and stared, stammering a bit, as his rescuer took down the monsters. But when the boy boasted about how weak the monsters were, Dist bristled. He brushed some dirt off his coat (mentally adding messing up his clothes to the list of offenses committed by his mysterious abductor) and glared back at him.]
Well?! What are you staring at? Do you think it's amusing to see someone of my stature being terrorized by monsters? You needn't have interfered, you know! I had matters well under control!
I was certainly not "crying out for help!" I - I was merely intimidating the monsters with a fearsome battle cry! [That's his story and he's sticking to it.
His mouth drops open when the boy says he doesn't know him.] You're unaware of my wonderful self? Well, I suppose that's only to be expected from an ignorant savage... Very well, I'll tell you! I'm the most gorgeous and brilliant of the Six God Generals, the preeminent genius Dist the Rose!
(Six God-Generals?) [Jay's eyes widened slightly at the familiar term, but doesn't show it with his speech.]
Ah...so you must be from Auldrant.
(Another one from Auldrant? Oh bother...)
Yes...I am "unaware" of your "wonderful" self, because I come from a different world. I'm the most well-known and yet unseen information dealer on the Legacy - Jay the Unseen.
This world is called Atlas. And no, I am not the one who "abducted" you. In fact, I have also been "abducted" here from my own world. We were brought here by a summon spirit named Martel. She brought us here to save this world because it is dying. Although I cannot fathom why she would summon someone like you....
(Perhaps Martel has grown so weak that she's lost sight of whom she's summoning. If so, we'd be in trouble if she summons any evil people...)

Sure you did...that's why you were crying out for help, right?
And I'm afraid I know nothing of your "stature." Care to enlighten me?

[Dist doesn't bother to make note of Jay's name, but he does scoff at his explanation.] What are you babbling about? A different world? What nonsense!
Wait... are you the one who brought me to this vile place?! I should have known! Where am I?! Why have you dared to abduct me?!

[Jay rolled his eyes at the accusation.]
