[takes a deep breath] Ruca, would you mind leading the guild in my absence? I wouldn't let you do it by yourself - I'll ask Anise to help too - but... I think you're more than capable of handling it.

Probably the same reason they didn't tell me. Officially, no one's said anything; I've only heard rumors through the grapevine and out-of-town travelers.
