Some Observations
Most dogs here do not have bobbed tails. I find that very cool. I mean, how often do you see Rottweilers and Cocker Spaniels with long tails? There really is no reason to bob their tails.
Dogs can go almost anywhere here. Very cool! I see dogs on buses, in trains, and in restaurants. They came up on the cog-wheel ride to Mt. Pilatus. I love this entire doggie acceptance.
On the other hand, smoking is everywhere, too. In restaurants there doesn't seem to be a no-smoking section. It's always smoky. On the boats and even up on the mountain people just light up. YUCK!!
