I have a job interview tomorrow.
This place needs fifty call centre operators so I volunteered for the position thinking "hey they can't be that choosy over people's references", anyway today they gave me call.
Lady on the phone: Why did I try out for the job
Acyla feeling incredibly stupid since she doesn't have much in way of references.
Acyla: Well I thought i'd give something new ago get a full time job...
Feels even more stupid because her answers aren't really that professional.
Lady on the phone: This is a temporary job.
Acyla: Oh.. then why is it listed in the full time section?
A moment of silence as both sides are puzzled.
I don't think i've ever felt more stupid in my entire life.
So she asks me if I still want to try out for the job. I said that I would since it would give me some idea of what that industry is about and what is required in that sector.
Fortuantely that wasn't the interview because I would have blown it badly. But the girl said to come in for an group interview and that if they hired me the shortest amount of time they would keep me on is for a week and if they liked me they would call me back every now and then.
Shit.. I need to buy some work clothes for this position. At least the appointment is at 2 pm but it's all the way in the city. ARGGHHHH!!!!
