Wonky Phone
I haven't posted here in a while, but I'm still alive! I also do not have a Twitter account. Nope. I never cared for Conway Twitty, and I want to stomp Tweety Bird's bulbous head into paste on concrete. So no Twitter.
The phone I have received as a replacement for my Sidekick is a Motorola Cliq 2. I like and hate the keyboard. I miss five rows of keys. I feel as if my ability to express myself using the phone's integrated keyboard has been vastly reduced. And I keep banging my thumbs against the screen when using the top row of keys. Argh.
Android is okay. The phone locks up occasionally and accessing a high capacity SD card really makes it crank. The weirdest thing about it is... whenever I'm downtown and the bus or train passes under the Pierce Elevated section of I-45, the goddamned phone reoboots. Seriously. Every time. I must find the source of this issue. Could it be the overpass? Going under other freeways doesn't do this. I pass by a fire station, Metro HQ, a Greyhound station (scary ghetto!), a few abandoned buildings...
This is gonna drive me nuts.
Oh yeah. I'm disappointed with King of Limbs.
