Special Statewide Labor Meeting

The purpose of this gathering will be to review and revise a counter proposal to be submitted to IUPUI in order to make sure that Indiana University's Division of Labor Studies will have sufficient resources to continue its statewide credit and non-credit programming.
IUPUI's recent Recommendations are a clear indication that our work to maintain the program has had an important impact. Now IUPUI is suggesting two staffed Labor Studies programs, one at IUPUI and one at IUNW. However, they have not allocated sufficient faculty to cover non-credit nor to provide statewide services. Our counter proposal will do that.
We want to make sure that labor, Labor Studies students /alumni, and our supporters have a voice in determining what we put forward to the university!
