I have been a very bad runner this year. For one thing, the weather was depressing for a long time. But the more important factor is my sleep schedule. I want to wake up early enough to go for a run before I go to work, and I've been going to sleep too late and waking up too late to do that.
That means I've only been running on the weekends, and until today I've been doing runs that are shorter than my ideal seven-mile (28-lap) distance. Today I finally managed to get back up to seven miles. By historical standards my time was terrible, 98:41. But I felt good that I was back up to my historical distance.
