Enough roundabout, endless arguing. Can we not settle this like calm, rational beings?

... maybe we should start by eliminating who we definitely don't want as a leader.

Dantewannabe and the little girl, for example.

I think in order t'do that we're gonna have t'decide for ourselves that a unanimous vote may not cut it. Elimination is technically a path to a 'unanimous' vote, though, so... let's do that.

I second Ryuuji, tho'- Not the princess, or that one guy. I didn't like his little plan for 'trust' at all.

Although I am discomforted by Herr Wilhelm and Her Majesty's behavior, I believe that if we eliminate them so casually, we would be expressing that we are doing so simply because they are new and strange to us. Perhaps we should not be so quick to throw them aside before even getting to know them.

Dantewannabe's too full of himself- He was treating the rest of us like amateurs who didn't know anything, and he's stupid to boot. He's no good.

The little girl is a spoiled brat. A leader is someone we're going to have to trust under combat situations to lead to victory, but she won't care as long as she gets what she wants.

She said she 'should' be the leader because we're 'peasants'. Call it an unfair and fast assumption if you wanna, but I doubt that if we elected her as a leader that she'd do it with us in mind over her own ego. It's not because she's 'new' or 'strange', or at least not t'me.

Maybe that guy has experience, but his suggestion about how we should express our trust featured us randomly murdering people if we didn't get what we wanted. I'm not going to give him a shot at being our leader and hope that that idea was a fluke.

Very well. I suppose at least for now we should narrow down our considerations.

That leaves, you, me, Battoli, Marias, and ex-Kaiser.

Not me. I know I can't lead this group effectively because I lack leadership experience as well as magical aptitude and physical prowess. I'm not saying I can't do anything, but I'm better being our pit crew than our driver.

It's the same feeling I have for Ryuuji and Isabel: They're good, but I just don't think they have the skills to call the shots all the time. I don't know anything about the Kaiser other than he was our top student, so that's why I initially voted for Kazimir.

...While I do disagree, I support your decision. A leader unwilling to lead is usually unfit to lead.

Thank you. I know that, someday, I'll make a good leader... I just don't think today is the day.

Perhaps each of us should state our opinions on those we have not struck out as possibilities?

... Ourselves included?

It couldn't hurt.

...

Well maybe it could, but probably not.

All right.

You start us off.
