As for what kinds of textures I like ... light textures, frames, handwritten textures.

When I do a texture set I usually google pics ... like I want to make black and white textures ... hm ... does that make sense? I hardly ever use my own pictures, though.

- Whatever you make is good! I probably use the light textures, cloudy textures, grunge textures, and vector textures the most.

-Pretty much any photo site. I might not necessarily use the actual photo, but I get a lot of inspiration from them. Stock sites are a definite as well. Sometimes, I get my iPod out and take random pictures and use those. I have some antique books, and I've scanned those to make textures. ^^

-Late afternoon is good, because I usually check my LJ after I get back from work.
