[Waking up in the morning to commotion is one thing. Waking up to the sound of tons of rushing water is another.
Turns out all that rushing water is actually Gaia Falls. And Amiti can see (or at least what seems to be) the edge of the world from where he is. The edge of the world.
After letting out a very undignified scream, he gets out of the water with his journal, and bolts the hell out of there thanks to some strip of land.]

...Would anyone mind providing an explanation as for why my bedroom has transformed into the edge of the world?!

[After that's all said and done, he'll be out and about the village today, freezing every enemy he comes across, and helping when given the opportunity.
Bats? Frozen. Slimes? Frozen. That sandwich you're eating? Fr- okay no he won't do that. He's being chased by those spider-like Dark Scuttlers, but they're more of a nuisance than an actual threat (and they bring back so many memories of the Grave Eclipse) so he simply freezes them, violently slashes them more than necessary, and moves on.
But he does seem to be having a bit of trouble with the Fury Demon and Mad Demon chasing him around.
...They might be a bit too much for only one Adept to handle.]
