On Muraki's Mary Sue Powers
OKAY FIRST A RANT ON MURAKI'S POWERS.
First! Muraki's powers. Here's a little run-through of them. I think I forgot stuff and that's probably not very clear so, but I tried.
But okay, re: Muraki's powers I'm basically GOING WITH MY HEART because canon is vague and on permanent hiatus, so we will never really know what he can do. I will, regardless, list here what he can do and what I think is the extent of it, for future reference and so people know what the hell I'm doing.
TO START, Muraki is for all points and purposes completely human. He has a human soul, gets papercuts and needs food and sleep to survive. He'd die if you shot him and his recovery time is just as long as any other person's.
He just happens to have great Mary Sue powers. Such as.
Energy
Muraki is described as an energy vampire, as I said up there, I'm playing him as an utter godmode on that aspect. He can suck energy, harness it and then use it as he wants. FOR MY SANITY, he can only steal energy through physical contact and he can get more of it when he's killing.
He can't use energy to heal, neither himself nor others, but he can give it away.
Feathers
... see I have no idea. I'm gonna go ahead and say he makes feathers by manipulating energy, they could be anything else but Muraki's gay and likes them. One day camp will make them pink instead of white.
Memories and Hypnosis and Other Various Mindfuckery
Muraki is basically good at everything, the memories thing I'm playing it as him being able to see memory locks and unlock them. Also as him being able to block things out-- not erase, though, the memories would still be there, just hidden.
Hypnosis sort of goes with it, he keeps a girl as a sort of mindless drone for a while so he is capable of mind control. Yay Muraki. I don't expect he'll this at camp because it's one of those risky things though.
Other Various Mindfuckery includes making one girl develop a split personality. He drugged her and used her own guilt to do it :D!!
Monster Summoning
... stop looking at me like that, this is not my fault.
I don't know. I really don't. But he summons things and seems to have enough control over them to have them attack people who are not him. I am going to say it takes quite a lot of his power and requires a lot of concentration, I'm also gonna say that calling more than two at the time is pushing it for him.
Stuff That Makes Slightly More Sense
Spiritual Sensitivity.- TO A POINT. He can tell shinigami apart from humans and see the spiritual things people can't normally see. He can also tell apart demons and youkai from humans, but he can't tell what they are. So he gets "pings" but isn't able to tell what exactly they are.
Mental Blocks.- Also to a point! He'd be able to tell if someone was forcibly trying to get into his head, but if it was accidental, he'd have no idea. He also has some mental barriers, but they're not super strong mainly because there are not that many psychics back home.
Medicine!
Muraki is a genius, he has at some point practiced everything there is to practice re: medicine. He can perform surgeries and physical therapy and psychoanalyze people. He also knows a lot about genetics and artificial life. MARY SUE!!
I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ANY OF THIS, if you thread with Muraki about doctor-related stuff, please keep in mind I am probably making shit up.
Wanged In The Yee
Muraki's right eye is mechanical. The color is a bit off and it is not all that hard to tell if you're close enough. This is why he has the emo bangs!
He didn't make this eye, but he knows it well enough to give it maintenance and fix it is it's broken. So I think it's safe to assume he knows a bit about mechanics too. He can also connect it back by himself, which says a little about his skill.
