now i've done it.
three years.
all of the music, email, pictures, and, most regrettably, the writing, that i have collected for the last three years. is gone.
i blew up my hard drive. and it will take hundreds of dollars worth of my savings to fix it up again. hopefully, it will cost me so much that i will just have to get a whole new computer. i would get an ibook, but i doubt that that will happen.
my dad was always warning me, but when do computers ACTUALLY just crash and require a massive repair like this one? i thought it only happened in the movies, or in big software company cubicles, or in the "friends" barbados episode (that was just for you, megan).
anyway, it's nice being on old, ghetto OS 9.1. rather humbling, i guess.
