I think that out of all the films so far this one stayed closest to the books. And while I try to judge the movies separate from the books I still like it for that reason. What makes the movie good is that it can be watched without reading the books and you can know what's going on unlike, for example, Half Blood Prince. What also makes this movie incredible is the actors. Who was more perfectly casted than Evanna Lynch, Imelda Staunton, and Helena Bonham Carter? Nobody (with the exception of Dan just because I love him).
The scene where Harry is telling Sirius about how he feels (the one where they're looking at the family tree) is so FANTASTICALLY acted by Dan. It really makes you feel for him and understand the struggle he's going through.
And I cannot end this entry without talking about Sirius' death scene. I didn't like how he was just sucked into the veil and I didn't like that Sirius called Harry, James right befoer his death. Way to totally mess up people who haven't read the books views of Sirius and Harrys relationship. However, my heart broke when Harry was screaming in Lupins arms. I think the silence was cool and ~artsy~ but I wish we could hear some of Harry's screams. Although, it did remind me of how when you're so upset and you're in so much pain sometimes you can't make any noise. Sometimes you try to scream and nothing comes out. It hurt to watch that and I felt for Harry so hard.
