The Basics
• Name: Katie
• Are you over thirteen? Sixteen
• How would you describe yourself? (includes strengths and flaws): I'm really quirky. I stand strong with my beliefs and defend them when people question them. I voice my opinion whenever it's needed, but at many times I'm left being as quiet as a mouse. I have a very strong sense of humor and I use it quite often whenever a situation is awkward. I'm a dreamer and I spend a lot of my time with my thoughts far off. I care far more about people and their feelings then an average sane person would. I'm a surprisingly humble person. I don't think of myself as the best at everything and anything and I'm usually surprised when I get a compliment for something. I'm also a hopeless romantic.
I am very stubborn and sarcastic. Often times if someone tries to convince me to do something, I won't do it. I need someone to provide good evidence that I should do it or else I won't. If it's school work, I'll do it. If it's a life decision, I might take it into consideration. My sarcasm can be a tad biting, but slightly humorus in a way. I'm very loud and obnoxious. Think of that little fish in Finding Nemo that swims up to Nemo to scream in his face, "I'm obnoxious!" That's me, perfectly. I'm very impatient and I cannot stand waiting for something either a long period of time or just five minutes.
• What are you passionate about? I am very passionate about life, music, art, Disney, literature, and Harry Potter. I view life as something that is precious and shouldn't be taken lightly. I have many friends who scoff at the saying, 'Life is short'. It really is if you think about it. Days pass quickly and you loose touch with those you were once close with, people die, and people are born. You can change your life, but you just cannot change certain things. I love music and art because it's the way I express myself. Disney and Harry Potter are two of my absolute favourite things in the world and have been since I was little. As for literature, I love to read and learn new ideas from books. I have quite the bookshelf in my room too. I need to buy a new one sometime soon now that I think of it... Or at least get a job to buy one.
• Pet Peeves? Ignorance, arrogance, people who chew their food too loudly, when the water is left running, when I can't find something I just set down, and people who walk unbelieveably slow.
• What are you not so good at? Thinking before I speak and starting conversations.
• Do you have any talents? I'm good at writing. I love to write stories and tell stories. I sing in my school's Concert Choir which is the highest choir so that says something. I paint and draw a lot and I have high hopes of becoming a visual development artist at Disney.
• How do you view love? There is nothing I love more then love. I'm rather careful when I like a person. I take my time to learn what they are like, and if I like them I become quite infatuated. My opinion generally changes rather quickly of that person and I don't feel attracted to them anymore. I have yet to fall in love and I doubt I will for a while, considering I am sixteen. I believe in true love and soul mates, that there is someone out there for everyone. Love is a many splendid thing afterall.
• Are you more trusting or more cynical of others? I'm way to trusting, but I can be cynical at times.
• How do you view friendship? Friendship is possibly one of the most important things to me. I am very close to my friends. I trust them more then my family and know that they are willing to call me out if I'm being a little moody or rude. They keep me grounded and support me with everything I do. They're more so my family then my actual family.
This or That
• Determined or laid back: Determined.
• Impulsive or Cautious: Impulsive.
• Optimistic or Pessimistic: Optimistic.
• Mature or not so mature: I'm right in the middle for this.
Confident or Shy: Confident.
Brave or Coward? Brave.
Night or Day? Night.
Home or Adventure? Adventure.
What is your style in fashion? No style. I just wear whatever I'd like. It's very feminine though.
Are you more girly or a tomboy? Girly, but only slightly.
Introverted or Extroverted: Extroverted.
Lover or Fighter: Lover, but a fighter when it's needed.
What are your dreams for the future? Become a visual development artist at Disney.
What do you look for in a mate? Someone who brings out the best in me. I want a guy who sees me for who I really am, who sees past whatever exterior I may hold or anyone's opinions of me to the person beneath that. I just want a guy who treats me well and likes surprises.
If you could change one thing about you, what would it be? Normally I would say nothing, but now that I think about it I would really like to develop the ability to think before I speak. I usually just shout out my opinion without giving it any thought whatsoever. That's mainly in real life though. What I love about the internet is that I can think of something before I reply to it. Much more useful to me.
A quote/lyric/song/saying that's important to you? "I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."- Marilyn Monroe.
